Tony Weaver, Jr. is an award-winning writer, educator and influencer.  He is the founder of Weird Enough Productions, a social impact organization using education technology to improve social emotional wellness, digital citizenship, racial equity, and literacy among young people. After seeing the impact that media stereotypes had on students in his community, Tony embarked on a journey to create new media narratives that would challenge the status quo.   

Tony has brought his special brand of insight and inspiration to schools, libraries, and corporations around the country. The TED Stage, as well as organizations like Facebook, Lego, and The American Federation of Teachers. He offers keynotes and workshops that engage and uplift in both academic and corporate settings. 

Tony Weaver obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Studies and Strategic Communications from Elon University.   

Tony’s written works include The Uncommons, Weirdo, The Dream Frontier and Analysis of Representations of African Americans in Non-Linear Streaming Media Content.
