Theodore Ransaw is a passionate advocate for Access and Opportunity with over a decade of experience empowering educators and transforming educational systems to better serve all students. His work focuses on improving Black male student achievement, enhancing student engagement, and equipping teachers and administrators with culturally responsive strategies. He has had the privilege of partnering with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to deliver keynote addresses and facilitate superintendent sessions, offering actionable frameworks to create inclusive school environments. 

As a thought leader in education, he has spearheaded initiatives like the My Brother’s Keeper program and collaborated with educators statewide to implement sustainable equity-focused practices. His published works, such as Mindful Teaching Practices for Black Male Achievement, and his forthcoming book 21 Insightful Ways Teachers are Everyday Heroes,provide research-based tools to help educators close achievement gaps and build meaningful relationships with their students. 

Driven by evidence-based practices and a deep cultural understanding, he is committed to supporting educators to foster equity, excellence, and lasting change in their schools.
