Prakash Patel

Prakash Patel is the Director of Technology at Lower Moreland Township School District. Prakash has spent 28 years in education, nurturing a passion for access and opportunity while teaching math and computer science courses at the secondary level and serving as a district leader. 

As a child of first-generation immigrants, he began his journey in an ELL classroom, which profoundly shaped his understanding of diverse learners' unique challenges and opportunities. He is currently a doctoral student at the University of South Carolina, working on completing his research on perceptions that result from experiences of being in an American classroom and how those perceptions impact his academic pathways.
