Dr. Angela Justice

Areas of Expertise: Curriculum and Instruction, Engagement and Cultural Relevance, Family and Community Engagement, Professional Learning 

Dr. Angela Justice, serves as the ro with Kalamazoo Public Schools.  She embodies the presence of a compassionate servant leader, dedicated to advancing social justice through education.   

With a 23-year tenure in public education, Dr. Justice's passion lies in fostering literacy learning and its practical application.  Since she believes in nurturing young minds, she generously dedicates her time to tutoring youth in literacy, both within and beyond Kalamazoo County. Beyond her volunteerism, she shares her expertise as adjunct faculty with Western Michigan University, where she instructs undergraduate and graduate literacy courses, shaping the next generation of educators. 

Outside of her professional and volunteer endeavors, Dr. Justice finds solace in autobiographies and picture books.  She cherishes time spent with her son talking, playing board games and watching documentaries.
