Amie Dean, holds a Master's Degree in Education and is Nationally Board Certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist. She is a sought-after speaker, author and consultant, who shares positive, practical tools to empower educators, transform classrooms, and inspire even the most intense students to succeed.

Amie was with Fulton County Schools in Georgia for ten years, four of which she provided support to teachers and students as the Student Support/RTI Coordinator for her middle school. She has spent over 30 years working with the most challenging students, those who are often labeled as disrespectful, defiant, or shut down. As a former special education teacher, she made it her mission to reach every student and transform her classroom into a space where they could thrive. Amie understands that while teachers want to help these students, they often lack the strategies to do so.

Amie’s books include, Your Happy Heart, There’s No Dream Too Tall, Because You Believe in Me, Behavior Interventions – Strategies For Educators, Counselors, and Parents, Behavior Interventions – Your Roadmap For Creating A Positive Classroom Community, and Behavior Interventions That Work. WORK WITH AMIE - Staff and District Professional Development, Online Courses and Virtual Training, Keynote Presentations and Conference Speaking, Classroom Observations with Tailored Coaching, Small Group/Grade Level Problem Solving Sessions, Author Visits Featuring Presentations and Readings.
